Elliot Pheasants

Named after bird expert, Daniel Giraud Elliot, this species is much larger than the Golden. Elliot’s are a hardy breed of pheasant. Males can become aggressive toward females during breeding season, so it is important to give birds enough space to shelter from each other during this time. Diet consists mainly of seeds, leaves, and berries, along with game bird pellet. 

Our pheasants are not pinioned. Wing clippings are available at an additional $2.50 per bird, and the trimming can last for 4-6 months.
