Dark Throat Red Golden Pheasants

The Dark Throated Red Golden is a great addition to any aviary. These birds are beautiful and docile, spending most of their time alone, apart from the breeding season. They prefer to forage for greens and seeds, along with the occasional bug. Diet will also consist of game bird pellet. Goldens are not good flyers and will typically remain grounded. 

Our pheasants are not pinioned. Wing clippings are available at an additional $2.50 per bird, and the trimming can last for 4-6 months.
