Swinhoe Pheasants - Yearlings (Pair)
Swinhoe’s Pheasant was named after the naturalist, Robert Swinhoe, who first described the species in his writings. Also known as the Taiwan Blue Pheasant, the bird is often considered a national symbol to the Taiwanese.
Breeding season falls between March-June. The female typically nests on the ground, and you can expect up to 6 eggs per clutch. Diet consists of seeds, fruit, greens, and game bird pellet.
Our pheasants are not pinioned.
All Swinhoe Pheasants are juveniles, 4-6 months old.
